RIP NAN 1913 - 2012 AGED 99 My 99 year old Nan suffered a bad stroke a few weeks back, she has been in hospital since it happened today she died. I grew up without a mum because she was a very bad alcoholic so my father and (nan) brought us all up and they did the best job anyone can ever do. She is originally from South Africa, she moved over here aged 58, my Dad John also was born there he came over when he was 6 he is 55 now. So this makes me a quarter South African I guess. My Nan was a very kind, strong, and well lived lady who would give money to a stranger in need, that's the kind of woman she was. She was 99 years old and died today, the same day her husband (My Granddad) Died, so He must have been waiting for her hey? Weird. I spent most of my life living with her and I feel so empty, it was only last year me and my girlfriend lost our baby, now this.
