Why? What is the difference? A baby, from any country around the world, would never guess that they are "supposed" to dissect mice and rabbits, wear cows and minks, eat lambs and pet dogs. If they had a chance, they would like to play with them all. If we were to put a baby in a crib with an apple and a baby chick (the fact that this allegory is known to some of you does not make it untrue), and we would find him playing with the apple and chewing the baby chick, we would think that this is a devilish baby. Why does it become "okay" then, when we do grow up and know (hopefully. Although I guess not everybody knows) the difference between an apple and a baby chick?
